Micron Srl is located in Soncino in the province of Cremona. Since its foundation in 1985, Micron has specialized in electroless nickel plating applied to precision machined parts.
The company has developed an exclusive electroless nickel plating process identified by the registered trademark Niplate. Through R&D and customer feedback, the Niplate process is constantly being improved and optimized. Our extensive knowledge of the treatment, process and chemistry allows us to ensure maximum reliability.

With over 30 years of experience in electroless nickel plating treatments, Micron supports its customers in product development, becoming a valuable partner. Micron serves machining workshops and the main Italian and European manufacturers in the automotive, pneumatic, hydraulic, textile, medical, cycling, machine building, maritime and aeronautical sectors.
Micron Srl is equipped with a complete laboratory for surface characterization; scanning electron microscope with EDX detector to analyze materials chemical composition, Vickers microhardness, optical microscopes, salt spray chamber, Taber Abraser. The laboratory is used for routine checks, periodic validation of surface treatments, research and development of new treatments, and failure analysis as a support to customers.
Thanks to its multiple treatment plants it can guarantee a fast and flexible service, being able to satisfy both high production volumes and small production batches, samples and pre-series.
It also performs an exclusive PEO (Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation) magnesium anodizing treatment called OX-UHA, which gives excellent hardness and corrosion resistance characteristics.
Micron's quality management system has been ISO 9001 certified since 1998. Micron also achieved the important milestone of IATF 16949 certification, a quality management system for the automotive industry.
